PDF to Text
Extract the text of a PDF as a plain .txt file, either as running text or laid out like the page.
PDF & Documents
Recognise the text in a scanned PDF so it can be searched, selected and copied - or saved as a text file.
Your files and text are processed on your own device, inside this page. Nothing is uploaded to Dubinity or stored, and closing the tab discards it. How privacy works
A scan is a photograph of a document: there is no text in it, which is why searching finds nothing and copying gives nothing. This renders each page, reads it with the Tesseract engine running inside your browser, and lays the recognised words back over the page in an invisible layer. The picture you see is untouched; what changes is that the words underneath it can now be found and copied.
Recognition is good, not perfect - clean print in a supported language comes out well, a creased receipt or a handwritten note does not. The result tells you how confident the engine was. English, Arabic, and eight other languages are available; the language data (a few megabytes) is downloaded from a public CDN the first time you use a language, and the page images and the text itself never leave your device.

Extract the text of a PDF as a plain .txt file, either as running text or laid out like the page.
Photograph documents with your phone camera and save them as a clean, straightened PDF.
Render every page of a PDF as a PNG or JPEG image, at the resolution you choose.
Rebuild a PDF that will not open: a broken index, a missing trailer or a page list that points at nothing.
Reduce PDF file size by recompressing the images inside it, while text stays selectable and links keep working.
Turn JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF images into one PDF, with drag-to-reorder so the pages come out in the right sequence.
