Dubinity is an independent UAE discovery platform. Every job listing, every activity, every word on this site is reviewed by a person before it goes live. We don't run a content farm, we don't scrape job boards, and we don't buy traffic. What you see is what we actually publish.
Why we built this
If you live in the UAE, you already know the daily friction: open one site to check Dubai Airport status, a second to check the Sharjah weather, a third (and a fourth) to read what's happening locally, and yet another to look for a job in Abu Dhabi. Add Carrefour weekend deals on top, plus the dozen utility sites for converting a PDF or compressing an image, and a normal Tuesday burns 20 minutes on navigation alone.
We wanted one cleanly designed home for all of it — fast, free, with no manufactured urgency and no auto-playing video. Dubinity is designed to be the first browser tab you open in the morning and the last one you close at night.
How we make editorial decisions
We publish on a draft → review → publish workflow. Every change is attributed to an editor in our internal audit log. We never accept payment for editorial coverage. Affiliate partnerships are limited to the clearly-labelled "Deals from partner stores" section and never influence what we recommend.
Our editorial standards are documented in full at /editorial-standards.
What we publish
- Jobs — open roles across the UAE, filterable by emirate, type, experience level and category. Each posting includes Google-for-Jobs structured data so it shows up in the Google jobs carousel.
- Activities — bookable experiences across the seven emirates: desert safaris, dhow cruises, theme parks, city tours and weekend brunches. Each comes with the partner's direct booking link.
- Weather — live conditions and a 5-day forecast for all seven emirates, refreshed every 10 minutes from the OpenWeather API.
- Flights — live arrivals and departures for Dubai (DXB), Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Sharjah (SHJ) airports, auto-refreshing every 60 seconds. Data is provided by the AviationStack API.
- Tools — twenty-one free conversion, PDF and image tools. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — your files never leave your device, never touch our servers and never get logged.
Other modules — offers, news commentary and long-form travel guides — come back online as we publish enough hand-edited material to do them justice. Until then, you won't find empty pages or thin placeholders here.
What we don't do
- We don't republish other publishers' articles.
- We don't auto-generate listings with AI.
- We don't buy email lists or send unsolicited mail.
- We don't serve pop-up or interstitial ads.
- We don't track you across sites without your consent.
