These standards govern every piece of content published on Dubinity. They're the contract between us and you, the reader. If we ever fall short, write to hello@dubinity.com and we'll correct it.
1 · Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are made entirely by our team, with no influence from advertisers, affiliate partners, or third parties. We never accept payment for editorial placement and we will refuse any sponsor that asks for it.
Affiliate income — earned when readers click a clearly-labelled partner-store link and complete a qualifying purchase — funds operations but never affects the editorial selection of jobs, activities, news commentary or travel guides.
2 · Sourcing
- Jobs — sourced from official employer career pages, government job portals (e.g. ADGM Careers, Dubai Holding), and LinkedIn company pages. We verify the role is open and the application link is live before publishing.
- Activities — sourced from official operator pages (Atlantis Aquaventure, Platinum Heritage, Big Bus, etc.) and the GetYourGuide / Klook partner feeds. We confirm the activity is currently operating and the booking page works.
- News headlines — pulled from publicly-available RSS feeds of the major UAE publishers (Gulf News, Khaleej Times, The National, Time Out Dubai, What's On, Arabian Business). We display only the headline, a short excerpt, and a link to the original article. We do not republish full bodies.
- Weather and flights — provided by named third-party APIs (OpenWeather, AviationStack). Each module displays the data provenance.
3 · Verification
Before publishing, every item is checked against:
- The source URL still resolves and matches the claim.
- The price, salary range, or date is consistent with the official source at the time of publishing.
- The brand name and logo match the legitimate entity.
- The content does not violate UAE law or our terms.
We do not auto-generate, AI-summarise, or rephrase publisher content beyond the short snippet shown on listing pages. Editorial commentary, when present, is written by a human and signed.
4 · Corrections
Mistakes happen. When we get something wrong:
- Material errors are corrected within 24 hours and a correction note is appended at the bottom of the affected page.
- Minor errors (typos, formatting) are corrected silently and noted in the page's revision log.
- To flag an error, email hello@dubinity.com with the URL and the issue.
5 · Affiliate & sponsored disclosure
Affiliate links earn us a commission when you click them and complete a qualifying purchase, at no extra cost to you.
- Sponsored sections are labelled Sponsored on every card, before you click.
- Outbound affiliate links carry the
rel="sponsored nofollow"attribute, as recommended by Google. - Editorial selections (jobs, activities, news commentary, travel guides) are never influenced by affiliate relationships. A partner brand does not get preferential placement.
6 · AI usage
We use AI tools as production aids (image compression, code review, grammar checking). We do not use AI to generate editorial content, write news commentary, fabricate quotes or invent jobs. Any content you read here was selected and approved by a person.
7 · Removals & takedown
If you are the rights-holder of an image, logo, or excerpt that appears on the site without proper licence, email hello@dubinity.com with a description of the work, where it appears, and your evidence of ownership. We'll remove valid takedowns within 24 hours of acknowledgement.
8 · Diversity & representation
The UAE is one of the most diverse countries on earth. When selecting activities, jobs and editorial picks, we aim to reflect that diversity — across emirates, sectors, salary bands and the wide range of nationalities that live and work here.
9 · Reader feedback
These standards evolve. If you think we should add, remove or rewrite any of them, write to hello@dubinity.com. Reader feedback is logged and reviewed in our monthly editorial meeting.
