Compress PDF
Reduce PDF file size by recompressing the images inside it, while text stays selectable and links keep working.
PDF & Documents
Convert a colour PDF to greyscale while keeping its text selectable, for cheaper printing or a plainer copy.
Your files and text are processed on your own device, inside this page. Nothing is uploaded to Dubinity or stored, and closing the tab discards it. How privacy works
Colour lives in two places in a PDF: the colour instructions in each page (the red of a heading, the blue of a table rule) and the pixels of the pictures. Both are rewritten here, so the result is a real PDF - text still selectable and searchable, drawings still sharp - and not a stack of grey screenshots.
Text, logos and diagrams are converted with no loss at all. Photographs have to be decoded and saved again, so you can choose their quality. Colours defined inside gradients, pattern fills or spot inks cannot be reached this way; the result note says how many were found so you know what is left.
