About Compress audio
Re-encodes through the same WebAssembly engine as the video tools, so a long recording streams rather than being decoded into memory all at once. Bitrate, channels and sample rate are all adjustable, and a voice recording dropped to mono at 64 kbps typically loses most of its size with no audible change.
