About Audio Transcription

Files over 4 MB, and formats the service cannot read, are converted to compressed audio inside your browser first, so only the audio is uploaded - never the video picture. Very long recordings are sent in parts and stitched back together.

Machine transcription is good, not perfect: check names, numbers and anything you plan to quote. Nothing is stored by Dubinity.

How to use it

  1. 1Choose an audio or video file, up to about 90 minutes.
  2. 2Pick the spoken language if you know it, and add any names or terms that must be spelled correctly.
  3. 3Confirm you have permission to upload the recording, then press Transcribe.
  4. 4Edit the text if you need to, then copy it or download it as a text or subtitle file.
