Barcode Generator

Ten barcode types, each with a note on what it is for. Retail codes end in a check digit: type the number without it and it is calculated; type one with a wrong digit and you are told what it should have been, because a printed barcode with a bad check digit looks perfect and then fails at the till. Bar width, height, quiet zone, text and colours are all adjustable, with a contrast warning - laser scanners need dark bars on a light background. Download a PNG for screens or an SVG for print. Everything is drawn in your browser. A barcode you invent is fine for your own stock and labels; a code for retail sale must use a number your company owns from GS1, which no generator can issue.
