About Image to Text (OCR)
Drop a picture or paste a screenshot and the text is recognised on your device. Arabic and English are supported, together if the document mixes them, and the result is editable before you copy or download it.
Small or dim pictures are enlarged and contrast-corrected first, which is usually what decides whether a phone photo of a document reads well.
Printed text reads well; handwriting is not supported, and tables and columns come out as plain lines. The recogniser (Tesseract) and its language files download once from a CDN and then work offline - the picture itself is never sent anywhere.
