About SVG to PNG

Scale by a factor or set an exact width or height; the browser's own SVG engine draws the artwork at that size, so a 24 px icon exported at 1024 px is crisp rather than blurred. Choose a transparent or solid background.

The SVG is rendered as an image, which is also why files it links to - external images and web fonts - are not loaded. Convert text to outlines first if your SVG uses a custom font.
