About Password Generator

Builds passwords from the character sets you choose, using crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling so no character is more likely than another - a detail most generators get wrong.

Look-alike characters (I l 1 O 0) can be excluded for passwords you will read aloud or type from paper, and you can ban specific symbols for sites that reject them. The entropy shown is the honest figure for the settings you picked.

How to use it

  1. 1Type or paste your text, or open a file.
  2. 2Choose any options - the result updates as you type.
  3. 3Copy the result or download it as a file.
