About Currency Converter

Enter an amount and pick two currencies; the result updates as you type, with the rate both ways and the same amount in other popular currencies. You can also look up the rates for any past working day back to 4 January 1999.

Rates are the European Central Bank's euro reference rates (via Frankfurter), published around 16:00 CET on working days. The ECB does not publish the UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Qatari riyal, Omani rial, Bahraini dinar or Jordanian dinar, so those are derived from each currency's official US dollar peg and labelled that way. These are mid-market figures, not the rate a bank, card or exchange house will give you.
