Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front Desk Receptionist role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Front Desk Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, greeting guests, answering and routing phone calls, and managing the reception area in a professional and welcoming manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintaining visitor logs, scheduling and coordinating appointments or meeting room bookings, and providing general information about the company. The role also involves performing basic clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, preparing documents, and supporting administrative activities for internal teams. The Front Desk Receptionist will collaborate closely with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive experience for clients, partners, and visitors.
Qualifications
Strong Receptionist Duties and Clerical Skills, including managing front desk operations, handling mail and deliveries, and maintaining organized records.
Excellent Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, with the ability to handle calls professionally and convey information clearly and courteously.
Proven Customer Service skills, demonstrating a friendly, patient, and solution-oriented approach to visitors, clients, and team members.
Proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office suite), basic data entry, and familiarity with office equipment such as printers and multi-line phone systems.
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages commonly used in the region are an advantage.
Previous experience in a receptionist, front office, or administrative role, preferably in a corporate or customer-facing setting.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in administration, office management, or related fields is a plus.
